I'm still a little unsure about this album. Maybe it's due from all the build-up over the years. The songs are great, but Carrabba's lyrics aren't the best, especially on "Kings Canyon and System of Symmetry"

right there with you. They were awesome in SF, but the new stuff bums me out a tiny bit (lyrically).

Don't miss this when they reschedule. They were great at the Troubador.

I don't know what people expected from the album, I think it is superb and always remember, Chris is probably much happier than when he wrote TMID, just like most people are as they get older and settle into life.

Ya, lyrically those two are the weakest on the cd. If you can catch them live, the new songs sound so much better live without the vocal processing and effects. Chris is on point vocally and the band is tight, definitely one of my favorite shows.
