Fred isn't thaat good. I mean, I like his playing, but nothing is ridiculous. I've heard great guitar players and I shake my head and say "that's ridiculous," and then I walk off pissed for some reason.
Fred has a degree in jazz guitar. He's got great chops, just doesn't show it for the sake of playing fast like some people. Hence, he could be considered underrated.
Ive never heard anything too impressive. But again, I still like his playing, but it's clear he's a better acoustic player than electric. Many people love him so they'll say he's the best, but he's just a favorite.
