never heard them, i'll check them out. i've liked LP since Hybrid Theory came out back in the early 2000's. there are many bands like them from those days...the nu metal scene that everyone hates on this site. good ones in a similar vein from back then are Reveille, Lifer, Darwin's Waiting Room, Taproot, Trust Company, old Project 86 (love all their stuff though), old Falling Up (love all their stuff)...so many more, that's just off the top of my head

They're going the direction I really think Linkin Park should have gone. It's really, really promising.

Edit - on a different note... Light Escapes' chorus Riff sounds like something super super familiar but I can't place it at all. Maybe Saosin? idk.

Wow, that cover was pretty damn bad

But now that we're on the topic of Dangerkids: Those guys kick ass and I'm pretty sure they're gonna be really big when they finally release their debut album next year. Dangerkids have the sound that all the old-school Linkin Park actually want to hear from LP (even though they've moved on from that sound since 2007).

Just did..I'm a fan! Also, incredible show they're on with Chiodos and Conditions. If that show was anywhere close to NJ/NYC, I'd hit that up in a heartbeat.

The original song came on shuffle the other day and was probably the first time I've listened to it in years. Never realized how badass it actually was until then either. I was also thinking about how fun it would be to cover it, too.... but this kinda ruined that idea lol the hip hop feel is a huge reason this song hits so damn hard, and I feel like they really lost that.
