It's a headliner with four awful bands supporting them. Would much rather have them take out bands like Such Gold, Comeback Kid, Living With Lions or Polar Bear Club than shitty bands like Issues and Like Moths to Flames.

Yeah, the best tour Silverstein ever did was with Bayside, Polar Bear Club and The Swellers. I don't like it when they take out shitty scenecore bands to support them.

I'd go for Glass Cloud and even if the other bands are just generic, Silverstein headlining is worth it.

Agreed. Bayside and Silverstein are two of the bands that got me into this kind of music so that tour was something special for me. PBC and The Swellers opening was just icing on the cake. I also loved when Silverstein was direct support for Rise Against in 2007 and Comeback Kid and Holy Roman Empire opened. That show was the shit.

Don't get me wrong I'm still going because Silverstein is one of my favorite bands. I just hate it when they take out generic bands that aren't anything special. If they wanted to take out younger bands, they could have done so much better than this lineup. I'm major jealous of people who got to see them with Daytrader and Such Gold on the Short Songs tour.

Yep they're already listed for January 26th at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago. Maybe they're announcing a new album along with it since Rescue will be 2 years old this April, hopefully it's in the vein of the Short Songs material with their new guitarist onboard, although I really will miss Neil's songwriting contributions.

Actually really loved Short Songs. Really hoping doing a "punk" record like that will inspire them to release another tight, upbeat record.
