Odd to see that Title Fight's 'Floral Green' didn't make their top 50 considering they streamed the whole album for about a week with high praise.

- Deftones are about 43 spots too low on this list.

- I know it isn't their bread and butter, but too bad Spin doesn't give heavier music an equal chance here. The Chariot and Every Time I Die put out both intelligent and fantastic works this year that are both worthy of any year-end best-of list.

Literally half of these reviews read like loosely-strung together pop culture references. Kinda predictable (but solid) list though. Frank Ocean's easily going to make my top 3.

Honestly haven't heard of a lot of the artists/bands on the list. Not sure if I'm missing out on dodging a bullet.
