They really shouldn't be. They were cool in the late 90's and early 2000's, but they lack improvement or originality now. Mike Portnoy is the single-handedly most over-rated metal drummer in the history of time. They should break up or go on hiatus to create music with other musicians. Maybe that will give them a spark.

Mike Portnoy left the band and wanted to return but they wouldn't let him back in, besides the point. One of the most overrated "progressive" rock bands.
