I'm sure it will be heavy, droney, repetitive and about 79 minutes too long...am I seriously the only one who doesn't get Tool???

Also, what the hell does "clutch" mean???

Why?

No, really. Why? Are there people out there that actually still listen to Tool?

If the sales figures for 10,000 Days are any indication, I'd say about one and a half million people still listen to Tool.

Yeah don't get your hopes up. I think the boys of Tool win the "longest time to complete an album" award.

That being said, I fucking love this band, but understand completely why non-musician people don't "get" them.

I like Tool a lot, but I hope this is a hell of a lot better than 10,000 Days.

I've got a friend who listens to Tool incessantly. He plays guitar.

sweet! I hope they keep the time I heard rumors about a new album to a album in my hands time down tho. Tool got me into every form of rock I like now. You sometimes have to put effort into tool, but it is definitely worth it.

Tool are incredible musicians regardless of how mainstream they are. Their time signatures and polyrhythms alone are worth the listen, but mix that with Danny Carrey's awesome drums, they have a totally unique sound. I'm excited for this but it probably won't come out til I'm 47 years old because Tool takes forever. It's almost always worth the wait though.
