I discovered that Listener is in a rap group called Deepspace 5, Familiarized myself with The Dirty Projectors and The New Pornographers, Listened to the new YMAEWK Ep and realized that even through all the drama that band keeps getting better and better, and finally some albums that I passed up but made a lot of end of the year lists Grimes - Visions, Frankie Rose - Interstellar, and Metric - Synthetica, Oh and Rayland Baxter became the closest thing to country I ever liked.
Best record they've done since And Then Nothing. It's seriously so fucking good. I really hate to be "that guy," but definitely a super early contender for AOTY 2k13 for me haha
How is this album? I haven't listened to Lifehouse in forever, but I saw this and was intrigued. The new songs sound much more poppy and radio-ready than their past stuff too. (i.e. dancey beats in the backgrounds and less rock-centric)
It will never be a classic, but it's a good album and worth a listen. They've definitely explored the pop side of their work a lot more on this one. It has some good alternative rock tracks too.

January alone will be crazy bc of this and Christopher Owens. And I'm obviously excited for Paramore haha

Haha you would be.
Yeah those two, Toro y Moi, A$AP, and I'm pretty sure there are several others in January I'm looking forward to. And then Atoms for Peace in February. Lots to get excited about haha.
