amazing. Self-Titled/Plus 44/TOYP&J . THANK GOD. Honestly, the difference for me is the Tom Delonge A&A vocals quotient. The less of that and the more snotty old-school Tom = my level of enjoyment...I hate to boil it down to that. But this sounds fuckin amazing.
After a while I grew to really enjoy Neighbourhoods. It just took time for the songs to reveal themselves. This ep sounds really good though. A more coherent mix of the 3 guys styles whereas it was really obvious who wrote what on Neighbourhoods. Nods at the old style firmly pointed towards their future.
I'm not gonna listen to the previews, but the reaction is encouraging. I loved "Boxing Day", and it sounds like the rest is pretty great too. A little disappointed if there isn't much Mark though.
