I'm pretty sure that the set was recorded using circa-2003 (or older) equipment. Mono makes sense. I don't think they were intentionally trying to piss off you future-types 9 years later.

If it were mono you would still get sound from both speakers, just saying. Sound is only coming out of one side. Not really the same as mono as far as I know. Either way, I agree that it's annoying.

As much of an attention-seeker as this Chris guy is, I've gotta admit this is cool.
