There's no real reason to post this other than the fact that it's kinda music related, definitely alcohol related, and the brewery (and label) are right down the road from me. Deschutes has named a new IPA after Rise Records. Yes, this is news, no I don't care if you don't like it.
is there a press release for this?... deschutes is the best brewery in oregon, hands down.. hate to be that guy, but im not buying it just because its called rise ipa. they dont seem like the kind of company to be tied up with shitty crab core.

Have you not been paying attention to Rise this past year or so? Although I enjoyed most of the "crabcore" their roster these days is maybe 1/2 metal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_Records

I go between Deschutes and Full Sail as my favorite in Oregon.
