I was given a download card by this band by one of their members, and I was interested considering they're from my old stomping grounds of Pueblo, CO. I have to honestly say it's pretty damn good for what it is. Five songs of Jawbreaker or Samiam-ish era 90's punk, raw vocally with a pop undertone. I sense a little 90's emo too, moments of The Promise Ring or Braid minus the math-y stuff. Recording has a few rough edges, but the songs (and lyrics) are smart and right on target for people who dig the punknews.org stuff, and that's not a negative.
