In all seriousness, this film is worth your time. Its shots make the mundane spectacular. While they're used to present a pretty cliche narrative about an unsustainable society that is shouted from the rooftops by ppl with Jill Stein bumperstickers, it'll heighten your appreciation for the world we live in.

"cloying and manipulative" is a good description, yes. I'm all about seeing bootiful stuff on the big screen doe.

That scene with the businessman putting clay/mud/whatever on his face...so unnecessary, so overwrought.
