Nope. Not really sure why I have to spell this out considering how all of these songs are pretty straightforward. Long Live is about childhood friends and growing up together. It can be about a guy but not necessarily. It also makes constant references to graduation "We were the Kings and the Queens, And they read off our names".

I don't see how you could think that Never Grow Up is about a guy but whatever.

Mean is outright addressed to critics. Again, nothing to do with a relationship.

Innocent is plainly about forgiveness. Like Long Live, it could be about a guy, but it does not necessarily have to.

None of these songs are about any relationship with a guy.

They can certainly be looked at as deep. Especially 3 of these 4 songs. But no matter how you look at it Never Grow Up, Long Live, and Innocent can't be about getting back at a guy. In fact, when I listen to Innocent, it certainly does sound like she is referring to a guy she knows, but she is saying how it's never too late to undo the things you've done. Everyone deserves a shot at forgiveness. If anything, that song seems like she is saying that she is willing to forgive the guys who she thinks has wronged her if they decided to apologize.

Long Live has her battling the fondness of nostalgia in exchange for optimism about the future. I can see Mean being a slight towards some boys she's known, but it's still mostly directed towards her critics.

I don't see how she is trying to get back at guys who have no chance of becoming as popular as she is when John Mayer, Jake, and Taylor what's his face were all extremely famous as it is (not to mention, that One Direction guy). I definitely do think she is cunning and that in some ways she does use these men to advance her career, at least in the sense that she writes songs about them (but really, every other pop star/pop punk band does that too), but not in like an outwardly mean-spirited way.
