Shane is a giant firm believer in music isn't about the way you look. He had this problem with Columbia records. They wanted him to lose 50 pounds. The dude seems to be really happy now which is awesome, especially after those rough years.

I didn't mean that he needs to lose weight in order to be allowed to perform. I just meant that being healthy is better. I am speaking from experience.

Love the dude. Love this band. I will support anything he does in music.

Oh I completely agree with being healthy is better. I used to be a BIG guy, so I know. I just know Shane has stated that he has an issue with people telling him he needs to look a certain way.

Also I really picked the wrong wording to try and defend him. Haha.
