Well you're definitely going to break 30 at your pace...

Also is Franny & Zooey worth checking out?

haha yeah, I know I am. My workload for school has been a lot lighter this semester than it was last year, so I've ended up having a lot more time to read than I expected when I made that goal.

I think Franny & Zooey is definitely worth checking out. It's beautifully written (especially the dialogue) and not super long, so it shouldn't take you long to get through.

Cool, I saw it at B&N the other day and realized the only thing from Salinger that I've read is Catcher In The Rye

I've probably started Catch-22 a dozen times over the past three years, can't make it more than fifty pages in. It's in my summer reading pile so hopefully this year's the year. Otherwise great list.

Yeah I had that problem a couple times too; I'd get about 100 pages in but would find another book and have to start all over again. It's a little rough in the beginning because of the sheer amount of characters/seemingly-random scenes of confusing contradictions, but the farther you get the more linear the novel becomes. In the last 5-10 chapters it's almost entirely linear. I tried reading at least three chapters a day so it only took me about two weeks to finish it (though it felt much longer)
