Never posted my list. Actually just made a list a few minutes ago. Quite proud of my 2013 so far.. but more so that I'm reading a book a week. Gonna aim for like 50 by the end of the year. Taking literature classes definitely helps though.

1.Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
2. Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins
3. The Giver - Lois Lowry
4. Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
5. The Taming of the Shrew - William Shakespeare
6. Batman: Hush by Jeph Loeb

Updated with a graphic novel I've had for two years but never read.

1.) Heart Shaped Box - Joe Hill
2.) The Hellbound Heart - Clive Barker
3.) The Exorcist - William Peter Blatty
4.) Legion - William Peter Blatty
5.) House Of Leaves - Mark Z. Danielweski
6.) The Terror - Dan Simmons
7.) Ghosts of Manhattan - George Mann

A pretty good, uber-violent Batman-esque vigilante story for people who don't spend a lot of time in the "Hero/Superhero/Vigilante" genre. Didn't break any new ground but it was very entertaining, and I very much so enjoyed the loose morality system the hero had. Nothing fun about handcuffs and the judicial system.

2. Everything That Rises Must Converge - Flannery O'Connor
3. On Writing - Stephen King
4. The Unbearable Lightness of Being - Milan Kundera
5. Let the Right One In - John Ajvide Lindqvist
6. If On a Winter's Night a Traveler - Italo Calvino
7. Franny and Zooey - J.D. Salinger
8. Malone Dies - Samuel Beckett

Updated. If you have any interest at all in the history of punk music, indie record labels, and the like, go out of your way to read Our Band Could Be Your Life. It's phenomenal.

Who has a Kindle? Thinking about picking up a Paperwhite, since reading on my iPhone is getting tough at times.

Got a Kindle Touch. I wanted to hate it and be all like "Paper rules!!" but I love it. Makes reading on the subway so much easier.

I loved Gethard's book. Do you watch his show, by any chance? Geoff Rickly was on a couple weeks ago and it was awesome to see so many things I like all in one place.

I don't have a Kindle specifically but I wholeheartedly recommend reading on an e-ink display. Super convenient and very easy on the eyes.

Ha, totally glazed over your avatar. Nice. I had no idea who Gethard was 'til a year ago, when his book was just published and I randomly decided to check it out. Then I started watching his show, so good.
