honestly why do labels keep signing chick fronted bands that sound like paramore? first it was versaemerge, then we are the in crowd, then tonight alive, now this.
im sure they're nice people and all but i just want something different. paramore are a good artist but i feel like chicks need to define themselves... and you dont hear every guy singer sounding like hayley.
people will probs say im grouping them all, but i actually hear way too much hayley in all of those singers.. and it bugs me.

Thanks for this, I definitely respect your opinion. I think we're slightly different from 'the norm' as we're UK-based, as is the band.
In terms of the Paramore comparison: for one thing, I am a huge Paramore fan so I take it as something of a compliment. I think because they are by far and away the stand-out band in the genre (let's call it female-fronted rock), it's so easy to make the comparison. If we sign a band that takes influences from The Killers, or Fall Out Boy - no-one makes any comment.
That's my take on it, anyway!
