couple things:

2- why did Lindback give up half the net?

Id cut brewer some slack because he is playing for the pass assumung lundback has the net covered forcing elias into a bad shot. That is just awful by lindback.

It's a bit of a tricky play, because Elias has a bit too much room to maneuver, so Lindback couldn't go with the the dead arm one knee down he probably usually would for an angle that sharp. But he didn't even compensate by getting properly set for a shot, and he is partially cheating in case Elias passes, but isn't in any sort of position to get over if he did.

He just managed to do everything wrong on this play - it's almost impressive.

Yeah, having that much of his left side exposed is terrible. He doesn't even seal the post with the pad. Which also indicates that he was in no way prepared for a pass, either.

Haha it was a 5 on 3. Lindback didnt play it well by any means, but its not like he was completely lost on the play
