I'm going to argue legislative, to change it up. I could quote Hamilton but I'm on mobile.

The judicial can't actively do anything. It can only restrain the other two branchs. Legislative is harder to control and that's what gives it it's power. It also faces less public scrutiny than the executive.

Should be fun discussion.

Those are very good points.

Hamilton called the judicial branch the "least dangerous branch"

It's not like Libya is the only example available. And that costs money and lives. That's a big deal.

Oh I agree.

hmm good point about the judiciary

but they had the power to gut obamacare, just as one example of their power - you can make all the laws you want but the court will strike your ass down

My only problem with that is that Obamacare would have never existed, or any law that has been upheld or stuck down by the courts, would not even exist without the legislative branch.

Quality post. Brought up some points that I didn't think about or know.

The lack of unity that congress can have can also be an argument in favor of its power because it shows the struggle it takes control congress by a single party and the fact that tensions inside congress can stop all things unlike in a way the branchs can.

Hopefully that somewhat makes sense.

I like how you edited my post to divert from my point.
