First off, I'm a HUGE Tom Jane fan and I found the film to be interesting over anything else. The soundtrack is incredible and I love the style Mark Pellington chose with the film. Another thing I love is that party-feel the film carries with it until the twist about halfway through...then the film REALLY gets interesting. It's a film about life...people find it boring, I found it to be different and consistent.

I'm not going to attack you for liking the movie. I was just interested to see what you liked about it. I was kinda jumping on the hate bandwagon... I didn't hate it, but I thought it was pretty bad.
It just didn't do much for me. It was basically just some 40 year olds wishing that they could still party like they did in college, and then collapsing.
If you liked it, that's cool... you shouldn't be afraid to say you liked it though just because others say it sucked
Most of us haven't even seen it, and are just going by what the description says. Therefore, we can't say one way or another if the movie itself is bad. |
I have seen it, but it is pretty bad.
edit: The soundtrack was pretty good tho... and for what it's worth I voted "no"
