Looks like I need to see "Silver Linings Playbook" ...
It was a really good movie. I don't think Bradley Cooper will get the win. But Jennifer Lawrence has a real shot at it. And I also think David O'Russell has a chance at Screenplay. My second favorite film of the year... Ben Affleck was robbed though. He deserved a Best Director nod for Argo.
I'll try and see that if I can find some place showing it / DVD.
Try any AMC theater. Most of them are playing it. And I assume because of the Oscar announcements it will probably be around a little longer. I just saw it on Monday.
The world will always be unjust until LDC and Casey Affleck both have academy awards.
Was Casey Affleck even in a film this year? And I'm with you on DiCaprio. I was hoping he would get the supporting actor nomination over Christoph Waltz. But Christoph Waltz did a great job, so can't complain.
Nah, casey didn't do anything significant this year but to not even get a nomination for 'the killer inside me' was a disgrace, best acting of the last decade.
I missed that one. I will check it out. That seems to be the general consensus in an otherwise negatively reviewed film.
