The world will always be unjust until LDC and Casey Affleck both have academy awards.

Was Casey Affleck even in a film this year? And I'm with you on DiCaprio. I was hoping he would get the supporting actor nomination over Christoph Waltz. But Christoph Waltz did a great job, so can't complain.

Glad Argo got some recognition but I was hoping Ben Affleck would have been nominated for Best Actor. He's so good at it!

Nah, casey didn't do anything significant this year but to not even get a nomination for 'the killer inside me' was a disgrace, best acting of the last decade.

I missed that one. I will check it out. That seems to be the general consensus in an otherwise negatively reviewed film.

SLP was just an awful, awful movie and took Moonrise Kingdom's spot. And what the hell is it with Life of Pi? No Kathryn B? No Tarantino? No Leo? The Oscars have been a joke for years but this year they have really outdone themselves.

Bad thread bad choices want Django to win but it wont. Master will most likely get snubbed for Oscar bait, which is a shame

But in all reality I don't give a shit about the Oscars except that the general public won't know some of the best films of the year
