ASAP is a notoriously average lyricist but his attitude, charisma, flow and choice of beats makes him well worth listening to.

I like ASAP and I am not cool nor have I ever strived to be so.

Many can vouch for that.

I think one listen to Fuckin' Problem or Hands On the Wheel disproves any theory that ASAP can't rap.

When I want to refer to a rapper with rhyming ability and knowledge, I'll go to Wu Tang or something like that. And if that sounds pretentious because they're old school, I'd go to Joey Badass even. Kid's got skills.

I'm not saying he's the best. It's obvious that he's not. Most of his peers are better in my opinion (ie. Schoolboy, Kendrick, Danny Brown etc.) I'm just saying that he's pretty good.

I'm still worried about the fact that that Macklemore single exists.
