I like ASAP and I am not cool nor have I ever strived to be so.

Many can vouch for that.

I think one listen to Fuckin' Problem or Hands On the Wheel disproves any theory that ASAP can't rap.

Of course people who are trying to be won't say they are, that wouldn't be cool. Duh!

ASAP is nothing special. It's ok for you guys to like mediocre rap.

You don't have to defend yourself, we get it, haha. Also people don't have to "try" to do anything. It just comes across that way from what I've witnessed. Anyway, listen on. I do sometimes. He has some fun songs, but that's all they are to me, fun.

I'm not saying he's the best. It's obvious that he's not. Most of his peers are better in my opinion (ie. Schoolboy, Kendrick, Danny Brown etc.) I'm just saying that he's pretty good.

Well, you can say that. It doesn't make it right. He's got a great flow and he can spit pretty quickly. By whatever technical standards there are, he isn't really average.


And you speaking your mind in this instance puts people down for what they like for no reason. Other people can sincerely enjoy something you don't without ulterior motives, you know. And also "hipster" of any sort isn't a real thing.
