To be fair though, some of the Shone news posts basically directed people to comment in the original Shone post. I feel like that contributed to it being the biggest thread, although it's undeniable that the hype was/is crazy and doesn't refute you saying it's an understatement.

This may not be the best example, but I'm thinking about The Mars Volta and how they relate to this. Sure, they don't wait thaaaat long to put out albums but it's starting to get spaced out more, and people check them out so much, yet when Omar Rodriguez-Lopez spams albums every few months, they don't get nearly as much recognition or as well of a reception as The Mars Volta's albums. It's not the most exact example but it's cool to be able to slightly see both sides of the spectrum from essentially one artist.

I think it gets too much shit for basically not sounding like a The Mars Volta album, but to each his own. Frances will always be my favorite, but anyway, the only thing I was really getting at with that is the comparison of what TMV puts into a record vs what Omar puts into solo records that get released nonstop.

I'm trying to think of other artists I'd genuinely include in this and I think Keagan pretty much hit the nail on the head with his 10 and I can't think of anyone else right now.
