The Carrie Diaries

I've heard mixed reviews on this show. I loved SATC, so I'm worried because of that I won't like Carrie Diaries. =/

edit: I think overall what I loved most about SATC was Carrie's narrative, and The Carrie Diaries continue that flawlessly.
