Oh man, love British TV. The IT Crowd is one of my favorites, love the original Office, loved Spaced, Vicar of Dibley, Blackadder, does Mr. Bean count?

It sure does! Loved that show, especially the dentist episode. This isn't a sitcom per se but Dowton Abbey deserves the praise it gets.

Man, I used to love a few british sitcoms so much. Especially Blackadder, Mr. Bean, 'Allo Allo!, The League of Gentlemen and most recently Little Britain. and Monty Python's Flying Circus, of course, which is one of my favourite shows ever.

And then there's "Bruiser", which I saw a lot of time ago, and I think is so underrated.

Only now I've realized it has Martin Freeman in it, I seriously didn't remember. and that other thin, blonde guy aswell !

Usually I hate Miranda, but I watched the Christmas special with my family and I really enjoyed it. It's quite a nice, silly warm-hearted comedy. which was perfect for the time. There's nothing edgy or innovative about it, but in the right circumstances, I enjoyed it. Tried watching another episode on my own and I had to turn it off half-way through.

Edit: Has anyone said Brasseye yet? The peadophile special they had is one of the most daring and hilarious episodes of television I've ever seen. Chris Morris is brilliant.

Blackadder was always my favourite UK TV show but there are so many I love...Spaced, The Office, Black Books, Fawlty Towers, Only Fools & Horses, Red Dwarf....

And whoever mentioned Brittas Empire...amazing, I had completely forgotten about that one! I'd even get a good kick out of Keeping Up Appearances mainly because the main character reminded my family of my grandmother hahaha. 'Allo 'Allo was not bad either.

The only panel shows I watch religiously are QI and Mock the Week. I enjoyed some others for a while but they never stuck in the same way these two did.

For those that have mentioned Garth Marenghi's Darkplace there's a short film with the star of the show (written by and directed by too) titled A Gun For George which can be seen here. Also produced by Warp films too and tells the story of a failing pulp fiction writer who blurs the lines of reality and fiction.

Quote:
Terry Finch - a man alone. Forgotten author of The Reprisalizer, Britain's toughest pulp paperback vigilante, Finch pens tall tales of brute force and rough justice from his isolated caravan, treading a thin line between reality and fantasy in an attempt to exorcise painful memories of his brother's death. When his ailing writing career grinds to a final halt, Terry’s compulsive and cathartic visions of violent retribution refuse to die with it, and a dark new chapter in the story of The Reprisalizer unfolds - where actions speak louder than words...
