Awesome album cover and it's great that O'Brother is featured with Manchester Orchestra, but... they're just covers. That's pretty lame.

Always regretted not picking this up two years ago at The Stuffing (couldn't afford a $20 two-song record on top of everything else I was getting). Excited that it's finally being released.

I was so excited at the thought of a new Thrice song or cover. Oh well. Glad to hear Manchester is releasing music again. Hopefully it's a sign they'll be recording soon.

7" could too, but a 10" would be cool. According to the replies above, the Thrice side should be lengthy. So 10" would be perfect for a longer song with deep grooves in the record for quality. A 7" couldn't really fit that length with good sound.

They've been recording between tours for the past year. Andy played one of the songs he said would be on the fourth record acoustic at the RAGC show I attended in Baltimore back in July, and he said the aim was for the record to be out by the end of 2013, but hopefully around the same time Casey puts out the TDH record cause they want to tour their new stuff together. He's also posted pictures of him writing new lyrics on his instagram and tumblr.

in that case, yeah. and honestly i don't mind that a split of this "magnitude" so to speak is pressed on something a little larger. it's just a bummer the price will be hiked up. i agree a 10" would be pretty sweet, though.
