He said it doesn't follow any sort of concept other than being deeply personal music that he wrote to vent; it doesn't relate to the Act records in any way and it's a lot more soft and stripped down feeling overall.

Based on this info I'm not very excited about this. Sigh... I'll just keep listening to Act's I and II.

That's true.. i'm just slowly losing interest in them all together. IMO, they've been steadily declining. And that's not to imply I don't like they're later stuff, I just think Acts I and II are FAR better.
