Smith said he's going to work on it after he's done with his six part Hockey mini series Hit Somebody.
He said Clerks 3 will be the last thing he will ever direct.
The only detail he's given about it is that " Clerks was about being in your twenties , Clerks 2 was about being in your thirties , Clerks 3 will be about being in your forties."
