Obviously this a terrible thing to happen, and I hope the dude is alright, but what a weird dedication that must have been.

"This goes out to buddy Greg, dude is totally gay. I didn't really have to specify that like it completely defines him as a person, but ummm.... anyway yeah thanks for hanging out Greg, you rule."

Someone tell me they have a song about LGBT rights or something that he brought for even a second.

I'm assuming he brought up the the recent issue that occurred, said something about the venue being ignorant, dedicated a song to his friend.
I guess that'd make sense, I dunno, I'd have to see what he said. Maybe he just dedicated a song to his gay friend and got jumped in the same night, not necessarily related. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions with so little information on this out yet. Maybe I just don't want to assume the worst in people.

A guy losing his long time job over wearing a shirt that promotes equality seems pretty shitty. Sure, Michael may have gotten roughed up, but the former is fucking with someones livelihood. I'd say that's pretty bad given the current economic status.
Well one is employers putting their personal views above the well-being of employees, which is pretty awful and shitty and should have never happened. This second situation sounds like a group of tough guy assholes being ignorant tough guy assholes. Not really the venues fault they have douchebags hanging out and being violent dicks at shows, just people being awful. Luckily they're lifetime losers going nowhere in life guaranteed. They're both pretty terrible, but we still only know pieces of information in each.

Pretty much singer gets wasted, starts running his mouth, Moshes around like he owns the club, hits innocent by standards, they don't accept his apology, singer gets mad and throws a punch, gets beat up, comes back for more but security tosses him.
Yeah, that sounds like a story that makes sense. Not being sarcastic at all it really does, if that wasn't clear.

how do you be like 90% pro-gay?

"I love my gay friends and will fight for them getting the rights they deserve as human beings, but I really just can't stand about 1/10 of all homosexual people I meet. I hope they still get persecuted."
