Degaussed is a post-rock/experimental band based in the downriver area of southeastern Michigan, and is made up of Matt LaFramboise (vocals), Luke Salbert (guitar), Zachary Mead (guitar), Chris Beaubien (bass), and Jake Tyrna (drums). Degaussed began to write and record their latest release, “You Have No Power Here” in the studio in the summer of 2011. The album was completed and released on March 12, 2012 as Degaussed begins to again set its sights on a live show agenda for the rest of 2012 and 2013 in and around the southeastern Michigan area. An EP is being planned by Degaussed for the follow up to “You Have No Power Here” in the stead of a full length, as an effort to release new material in a timely manner to compensate for the constant evolution of Degaussed’s sound.
