You're proving that you don't understand anything about the Bible. Anyone who has even basic knowledge would know that the fabric/shellfish argument doesn't hold water. And I do believe that their should be a hierarchy of beliefs:
1) Love God
2) Love others

From that article, I see Dan Cathy committed to loving his neighbors (the gay community) in a way that still honors God above all else. They stopped funding the most divisive groups; they redrafted their vision statement to add treating all people, including LGBT, with honor, dignity, and respect; He personally reached out to one of his most stringent dissenters and asked what he could do to change and then did it.
As a Bible believing Christian, Dan Cathy will probably never ideologically change the way he thinks about homosexuality. In his mind, that would be putting "love your neighbor" over "love God." But he is doing all he can to love his neighbor while loving God first and someone with much more reason to be pissed at him than you is okay with it. |
