Favorite Song: Rescue Trained. The most emotional vocal delivery of all the songs in my opinion. Plus, the end, "I could, but I can't lose you" kept me coming back to that song.

Rescue Trained because it reminds me of something that would be off The Moon Is Down

"Janie" because it's a completely new sound that the band has never experimented with before. It also has a little bit of Dashboard influence which I'm completely okay with. Everything Chris does is genius.

That being said, right under my username is a quote from one of my other favorites off the record, "Way Down."

this whole new album is simply amazing. just listened the whole morning to the first then right into this album and it just matches so well.

If I were in NY, I'd go. Freaking love this band and this record, well, maybe I'd get it mixed differently.

Rusted Machines because it's a total jam, has great dynamics, and the last minute just fucking dominates. The way the bridge builds up into the outro is awesome and it's impossible to not sing along. Big sound, almost like an anthem.

If I'm the winner I'll give the tix to a friend in NYC so don't exclude me!

Penny Black...from the intro drumming to the wall of awesome guitar/soaring vocals that ensue, the song never loses it's energy. LOVE the line, "we mine for silver, when we're flush with gold."

So Cold as it was the song that brought back a band I thought I'd never get the opportunity to see live.
And then Sandy happened. And my ticket got refunded. And I was back to thinking I'd never get to see them play this song or any others.

Here's to you changing that!
