The lack of 3eb and mb20 references is disturbing. And this is atrocious.

Wow, have the people who are worried that this might indicate a "poppy" album from Relient K ever heard Relient K's discography?

Seriously.

Always been "poppy"? Yes. But this is like "Must of Done Something Right" sugar coated, run through the Top 40 simulator, and puked on by Max Martin. This goes from "being poppy" to just being pop.
I mean no difference between "been insanely poppy" and "pop" ... it's Relient K. They're a pop band.

I think their best stuff is in the vein of ''Curl up and Die'' and some of that material off of the Birds and Bee sides/nashville tennis album. Forget and Not Slow Down wasn't really that poppy and had some great stuff too.

Are people new to Relient K here? They've always put out really ridiculous songs for fun. They've done over the top country sounding stuff, christmas songs sung in falsetto, raps about shoes.....Are we really judging what their album will sound like based on this?
And I wouldn't mind if they were a little more upbeat and "poppy" than on Forget And Not Slow Down. While I do love that album I just felt like it didn't show the personality and quirkiness they used to have. This does a bit more.
And really, when it comes to Relient K I've always felt they're more defined by their personality, rather than their genre.

This is why they're my favorite band. Not afraid to have fun.

Song is catchy, fun, and funny. And the new album will be fantastic!

i love pop music, but this is not a good pop song. it's catchy, but that's about it.

glad they're having fun, though.
