He wrote this song independently of the record but when he played it for us, we instantly thought it would be a great fit on the record. It was a great anchor for side A, and ended up inspiring track 14 which caps off the concept of the record.

My question is what made you want to write a concept album again?

We felt that a concept record gave a lot more direction to the writing process. We wanted to create something different and original, but needed that source of inspiration. It's also a lot more fun to fully sink into something that you've created - like writing a story, developing musical motifs, and making it all connect.

Any plans to release a live album on vinyl? I would love to have a live Silverstein record in my collection.

I would love to see Decade on vinyl, since that's a full live record, but who knows!

If it was up to us, we'd press everything on vinyl.. in multiple colors! haha
