I saw GNR last year, and they sounded incredible. It sold me on the new line-up. They played at the top of their game and Axl sounded great.

At least you got the actual artist, in 09 there were rumors of Journey being the special guest, they were introduced as Journey, but actually it was a cover band. It was fun though for what it was.

This was the worst news. I had rationalized Kings of Leon before as "ok, this doesn't really make sense, but the third headliner will probably be amazing." And then this.

Atleast kanye is playing.

two out of three of these headliners SUCK. the other is mostly enjoyable for laughs at his ego and a few oldies. [kanye]

what were they thinking? this lineup is so solid otherwise.

Kanye West puts out probably the worst show I've ever seen. Headlined a festival here back in 2011, it was a freak show. And I used to like his songs before that.


Edit: Young The Giant + Bloc Party + Local Natives + Gary Clark Jr + Best Coast + Portugal. The Man + Dinosaur Jr + Japandroids?? That's one hell of a good line-up

Axl needs to rename this band Axl Rose and the who are they's. I'm sure they're good musicians, but there's nothing Gn'R about this, just a self-important middle-aged dude trying to stay relevant. This coming from a guy that LOVED 80's-early 90's era guns.
