Otherwise, you're better off with the early 2000's metalcore stuff, like Killswitch, As I Lay Dying, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, Atreyu, etc.

Killswitch is amazing and AILD is good too. Looking forward to KSE's new album.

Just listen to One Wing by The Chariot and Ex Lives by Every Time I Die. Those are 2 of the best heavy records, in my opinion, in the last year or so.
