Syfy and Ridley Scott's production company will be adapting Phillip K Dick's classic, influential, and best selling alternative history novel The Man in the High Castle into a 4 hour mini series.

It is the story of life in 1963 in a world where the Axis powers won World War 2 and the Imperial Japan controlled east and the Nazi Germany controlled west are currently in a state of Cold War with each other.

There is also a "story within the story" about an alternative world where the Allies won the war.
