Personally, I am a HUGE Bowie fan while Beck has always been "that Loser guy," so maybe my thoughts are biased. I didn't enjoy much of anything about the cover. It was interesting sonically, and I'm sure that 360 degree video will be interesting if anything for the variety of instruments present. But, 167 musicians in one room doesn't mean cohesion and quality. I'm at a loss to describe the particulars of my dislike, but I'll give it another try or two on the next few days; maybe it'll grow on me.

I'm also a huge Bowie fan but have never really been able to get into Beck. I loved this performance. Maybe my expectations helped because I don't really like Beck's version of Diamond Dogs.
