Just started the first episode and while some of the jokes are landing for me (Gui Fieri/Tibetan Monk in particular) I find his delivery a little too polished and boring. Maybe it's because most of what I like is deadpan and awkward, but this guy kind of seems like a radio personality or something.

Have you ever seen his standup? Delivery is pretty different. He doesn't say his jokes like he's reading a news story etc.

If not, I reccomend you watch/listen to Shakespeare. One of my favorite comedy specials.
