Good to hear. Enjoyed their previous EPs, as well as King vs Queen.

And the world is ok now. Brighten is one of my favorite bands.

One of my all time favorite bands, I prefer their older sound to the latest EP, but no matter what I'm happy with new music from Brighten. Hoping for another StageIt show at least if there's no mini tour or anything.

I don't believe they were ever on Victory. Their first record came out on JT Woodruff's label.

Victory sued Carbon Copy Records (JT's label) which prevented Brighten from ever officially releasing their first LP.

Right, but Brighten was never part of Victory. Carbon Copy just had distro through Victory.

I know. I think what the person who said "...screwed over by Victory" meant was that Brighten was indirectly screwed over by Victory. It definitely wasn't the typical case of "band signs to Victory then gets boned"
