I could have seen My Chem back in 2004 but my friend didn't book me tickets and I didn't want to go alone. Fuck 2004 me, I'd kill to see Revenge era My Chem in a tiny club.

I saw them in Munich for the first time in 2005. Holy Crap. It was probably the best I'd ever seen them
It would have been the perfect show for me. They would have just been playing a setlist full of songs from my two favourite albums ever.

Yeah like it was 75% revenge and 25% Bullets.... my biggest regret if anything was not discovering them earlier and seeing them in their Bullets day (which is actually my favorite album)... but they opened with Interlude and It was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard...

I wish I could go back; I saw them at Bamboozle last year and I was just filled with so much disappointment

edit: I also regret not staying afterward and trying to meet Gerard. Man....
Yeah, would have been perfect. Opening with Interlude sounds amazing.

I've only got to see them with the Danger Days shows and I still thought they were amazing, especially their first show back which was still pretty Parade/Revenge loaded but I'd kill to see them back then, even on the Parade tour.

People should only be naming bands that either have broken up, are on "hiatus", or don't tour anymore.
why?

Because the list could be endless. There are tons of bands that I wish I had been a fan of when they last came to town... or shows that I wanted to go to but missed because of money, work, school, prior obligations etc...

But if there is a still a (good) chance that I might get to see these bands in the future, then why mention missing them.

I don't know, just my 2 cents
I think it means a specific time you had the chance but didn't get to for some reason. Not a band you just weren't a fan of at the time. Plus a band could have drastically changed since you had the chance. I'll never get the chance to see My Chem play a tiny show with a set full of songs from their first two records again. Also a band like The Used would have been great to see back in 2004 but I wouldn't go see them now.
