I saw them in Munich for the first time in 2005. Holy Crap. It was probably the best I'd ever seen them
It would have been the perfect show for me. They would have just been playing a setlist full of songs from my two favourite albums ever.

I've seen some bands in their best times before they either broke up or turned shitty:

-Dashboard (Places You've Come To Fear The Most)
-Emery (The Question)
-Glassjaw (Worship and Tribute)
-Coheed and Cambria (Second Stage)
-This Day and Age (Bell and The Hammer)
-Noise Ratchet (anyone remember these guys?)
-Hot Rod Circut (along with Noise Ratchet)

Yeah like it was 75% revenge and 25% Bullets.... my biggest regret if anything was not discovering them earlier and seeing them in their Bullets day (which is actually my favorite album)... but they opened with Interlude and It was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard...

I wish I could go back; I saw them at Bamboozle last year and I was just filled with so much disappointment

edit: I also regret not staying afterward and trying to meet Gerard. Man....

Yeah, would have been perfect. Opening with Interlude sounds amazing.

I've only got to see them with the Danger Days shows and I still thought they were amazing, especially their first show back which was still pretty Parade/Revenge loaded but I'd kill to see them back then, even on the Parade tour.

Refused , pretty much only band I'm pissed I never got to see.

When I was in 8th grade there was a Beastie Boys/RATM tour that my mom wouldn't let me go to. I'm still salty about that.

Those were some names that came to mind. It wasn't a matter of life or death :) Was just curious how they were live.

I've seen Monty twice and they were pretty damn good. Stole the show both times. First time was them opening for Sum 41/Amber Pacific and the 2nd time was opening up for Hawthorne Heights. Met them after the latter show and I talked with the singer about the music career and how Monty wasn't getting enough of a push. I sensed that the end was near.

My biggest show regret is not ever getting to see the band Emanuel. I tried to go see Emanuel on their last tour ever with The Receiving End Of Sirens, but my brother had to take me since I was like,15 at the time and my parents wouldn't let me go to shows in NYC alone. My brother ended up not having the money to go, and then Emanuel broke up shortly thereafter. Such a bummer.

I've also missed The Lawrence Arms, my favorite punk band, every time they've played the area since '06. Some of the shows were 18+/21+ when I wasn't old enough to get in, and others I couldn't pull off due to money troubles. Next time they return I will be there by any means needed.

Also wish I could've caught Warped '05 & '06. Those lineups were probably the best it's ever been and will ever be.

As for me, I've read this whole thread so far and I can say that I saw 90 percent of those bands listed. I know, I'm awesome. Seriously though, here's my list of bands that I wish I saw that I will probably never see live:

At the Drive-In
Stutterfly
Rage Against the Machine
Acceptance
Blinded Black
Limp Bizkit (I may see them live but it's been awhile since they've been in the NYC area other than that free show they had at Gramercy Theatre a few years back.)

At the Drive-In is literally the only band that I'm upset I'll never get to see live.

Brand New, around thanksgiving 2010? I believe it was. I ended up going on a vacation to my home state to see family instead, but I kind of wish I went to see Brand New instead.

Bands I wished I'd have seen (not all are defunct, but some are):

The Promise Ring
No Knife
Jets to Brazil
The Loved Ones
The Weakerthans
A Wilhelm Scream
Finch
Superchunk
Boy Sets Fire
Cave In (any time period even though most prefer pre-or-post-one-album-over-another)
David Bazan
The Dismemberment Plan

...and that's a condensed list.

Fuck.

Not gonna lie, I was bummed when the New Kids/Backstreet Boys tour didn't come here. Now, the New Kids/Boyz II Men tour is skipping Salt Lake, too.
