Yeah I didn't like their name before. This is better.

I think the name mpPA grows on you the more you fall in love with the music. Just my personal experience.

Still, it's the same music, so I'll still adore it.

Name doesn't really stick out but I'll get used to it. Great band though.

I am okay with it since its the same music, but at the same time I would be lying if I said i wasent a little disappointed haha

i hate when bands i only kind-of-sometimes listen to change their name to something that isn't anything like the original name. i always forget about it and then when i hear news about them, i have no idea who it is and usually miss out on stuff. either way though, the name doesn't really matter all that much. it's not changing the sound.

that's cool, they're just keeping us on our toes. now their name sounds like any other "the..." band though. i dug their different name before. oh well.

I actually like the name matt pond PA. It's clever and it's cuts the bullshit. His name is Matt Pond, he's (or was) based in Philadelphia, he's awesome, there you go. But as long as he/they don't change their sound, I'll be happy. His latest release was amazing. I always have 'Basement Parties' stuck in my head.

He could call his band The Poop Factory and it wouldnt change a damn thing, Matt Pond is perfect and everything he touches is gold. I'm fine with whatever name he picks but i got no problems with the PA
