Every D/C record since A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar has been somewhat forgettable to me. They are all decent. but forgettable, as was the new FSF release. It was good, just not good enough to hold my attention very long.
I'll be interested to see what he comes up with next. Hopefully it's something that challenges him as a writer and we get something a little more interesting than what we've been getting. Hoping for good things!
I agree with the opinions of Dashboard Confessional. The project had it's time, but it kind of ran it's course. I worry that he's got nothing left to add, in that specific style, that they haven't already done
