I don't think he is as bad as some people make him out to be, but yea. this draft/offseason is my final test for him, he needs to do well.

$50 million in cap space and 5 picks in the first 3 rounds. DO OR DIE time.

huh? they have $50 million in cap space. giving Wallace $12 million/year doesn't really affect any of their other plans

I just don't want to tag those players. if you can't re-sign sean smith longterm for a reasonable price, let him walk. same with Starks, as much as I want him back. don't use the tag on those positions IMO.

Btw, I was looking at your 2009 draft...he did really well. Had he not wasted the 2nd from Washington on Pat White, and gotten someone like Unger or Byrd instead, you'd have gotten 5-6 starters out of that draft. Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, Hartline (4th), Clemons, etc

yea as I said, I am not his biggest fan but I think he does get ripped on too much. he also found Reshad Jones in the 5th round in 2010.

I was against the Pouncey pick in '11 but he is a Pro Bowl level player already. I was not on board with the Tannehill pick in '12 and he looks like he could be good.


my ideal offseason would be to sign one of Wallace/Jennings, re-sign Hartline, and take a pass rusher or CB at 12. get another WR in the 2nd or 3rd to add to the other 2 guys (and Bess).

not necessarily. all reports are that the Dolphins want him back and he wants to be back, but the Dolphins only want him back at their price. what that is, I don't know. but he will surely be able to get a bigger deal elsewhere.
