I don't like this. Youtube videos, especially those for huge artists, are known to be hugely inflated because of bots and hacks to make it seem like they're bigger singles than they are. Plus, there's no effort being made in terms of actually using money to buy the track. There's no real benefit to it.

Also how can they calculate the numbers with different videos of the same song? Does it have to be from the official band or their label? I don't know, I don't think it's going to change any of the numbers because a lot of the same people on the Hot 100 also have really popular YouTube videos too.

Does this not just mean that any band can use a bot and get themselves into the Hot 100?
