My week

Copeland is sort of like what Something Corporate should have become, even if I didn't really dig on Sunshine: enjoyable but overly sappy pap that sounded way more sincere on the second try which then got a little more creative the next time around.

And then, you know, held up as a not-that-embarrassing-footnote of your childhood tastes.

I can't really see the comparison.

I've been listenin' non-stop to the last Shai Hulud record this past week, such an incredibly good record.

Also, high five to Ryan listenin' to Southern Weather. This album is in the top 10 of my all time favorite records.

Not embarrassed of Something Corporate at all. Don't understand that opinion at all. I was 16 when they came out, now I'm 28. I still listen to them every now and again.

I'm still digging Modern Baseball and Silverstein, and since I've been catching up with the latest records I've also been listening to Funeral for a Friend, Biffy Clyro, Broadway Calls and Tiny Moving Parts. FFAF's seemed decent, a little underwhelming, and Biffy Clyro's and Broadway Calls' seemed good. They're both still growing on me. I didnt get into Tiny Moving Parts, though, but I'll try.

This week was terrible, I was sick the whole time. This meant I had to miss the Tiny Moving Parts show last night, I'm really kicking myself.

In between puking I listened to new BMTH, The Chariot, and Basement. Nothing really that interesting.

Finished House of Cards on Netflix the other day, and HIGHLY recommend that.

Been on a huge Andy Hull kick - all Manchester Orchestra and Bad Books all the time.
